CHANGES AFOOT IN THE PMF LEAGUE
CADIN GIVES STRONGEST HINTS YET
ABOUT BIG CHANGES
by Mark Chang for PMF News
Dr. Olivier Cadin has today given his strongest hints yet about big changes being just around the corner for the PMF League. In an interview for Football-365, Cadin stated, "The ABM haven't succeeded in what they wanted to achieve, they have searched for recognition, and now they're recognised the representatives are doing absolutely nothing about it. Therefore we are back to square one, changes which we believe will benefit the league will be done, without ABM confirmation." When asked about the influx of foreign "stars", Cadin went on, "The D.o.E. have complained on a number of occasions about the quality of the players, and we have reached a settlement between our party and theirs. We are now looking at the timescale required before implementing these changes.", Cadin refused to comment further on the matter but there are strong suggestions that there will be not only requirements for PMF League entry, but also a limitation on the number of foreigners allowed to be named in a match day squad. Another matter which was discussed were loan deals, which Cadin simply said, "It is not our concern at this moment in time." Cadin did make one firm commitment though by saying, "We would like to reach our target of five leagues of ten teams by PMF's third season, we are discussing the methods which may be used to achieve this, and I expect that playoffs may be used aswell as an automatic two-up, with one down system, for the PMF's second season." |
