FIFA CONFIRMS INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES DURING PMF BREAK

by Mark Chang for PMF News

FIFA has confirmed that international friendlies will be played during the PMF Break between the League and Super Cup on 20th April.  Sepp Blatter, President of the world governing body, said "we have taken the top leagues of Europe into account when deciding these fixtures, and have decided that the 20th of April is the most suitable date for the final official round of international friendly matches before the FIFA World Cup."

As this will probably be the last chance for many managers to see their countries in action before the World Cup, there will be a large schedule of matches around the globe on this date.  It is thought that PMF House was heavily involved in deciding this date with FIFA, as the match falls in between the final League fixture and the first group of Super Cup fixtures on the domestic calendar.
