THE BOY WONDER RETURNS

By Mark Chang for PMF News

As the PMF season is hotting up it was interesting to see a few old faces returning into management all around the globe. The biggest story though has to be the return of the boy wonder, Jeet Padaruth.

Padaruth came to England and walked into the limelight, taking control of Derby County in the SAS League, he went on to destroy the competition that season and took the division one title, and earned himself the reputation of being one of the all time greats.

Padaruth has answered the call of Senegal, who qualified for the World Cup for the first time, and also are featuring in the African Nations Cup. It will be interesting to see how the boy wonder does after being out of the game for almost two years.

This week also saw the return of the great Martin Smutov, Smutov himself another hall of famer who unfortunately lost some of his shine as assistant to Mark Jackson at Watford.

Jackson held the reigns for a while, but not even Smutov could rescue his job, and both men walked before they were pushed.

Smutov returned home to Estonia, and immediately took control of the International team for a second spell. Estonia were in need of some work, and many believe that Smutov is the man who can bring them back into contention.
