** Inside the Sky Sports studio, The final scores are being read out by the regular reader whilst a graphic of the results are shown on screen to the nation. Presenter Jeff Stellybum is just reminding himself of some of the scores as he awaits the reader to finish reading the final scores.       He looks towards the camera as he awaits the reader to finish the last result. **

Reader:  And finally.... Ipswich Town   3......Leeds Utd    0.

JS: Well, ...Action all the way today as we have seen another stunning round of matches from the SAS cup.  We'll be looking back at all the results in the next hour and talking to some of the players and managers who featured heavily in today's matches. ( Chuckles ) And we'll be seeing just what Tottenham manager Brian Thompson and Everton manager Longball had to say to each other after today's game at The SAS National Internet Stadium. I promise you.....Not to be missed.  Well Bradford and Southampton met again for the second time in a week today and amazingly over 73,000 turned up to see weather one of these sides could press for a place into the last eight. Bradford, Who you might remember put up a stunning defensive display last week and went on to win 2-1 in the league match at the Dell. But today was going to be a totally different match, A win for Bradford would see the Yorkshire club into the last eight whereas Southampton knew that anything less than a win would see there SAS cup dreams over for this year.It was a cautious but very entertaining game today so I here. It finished 0-0 and we have Martin Fenwick down at the SAS National Internet Stadium who has Bradford manager Buck Hysen with him.

MF: Yes Buck, A very entertaining game today but how did you see it?

BH: Well....We knew today was going to be completely different than last week, We expected Southampton to throw everything at us last week which meant we knew what had to be done and fortunately for us we got our tactics right and came out winners. We knew Southampton's approach on today's game would be different so we had to change our tactics slightly. I think overall we played better than last week but both sides were more prepared this week and we found it hard to break each other down.

MF: 0-0,......A good result and it puts you in a very strong position to qualify for the quarter finals.

BH: It puts us on eight points and I said I thought we would need eleven to qualify, So we still need to beat West Ham to qua........

** Fenwick buts in **

MF: Well Coventry won 3-2 today and West Ham drew 5-5, So Coventry are through and you now only need a draw to qualify.

BH: Coventry won!!..Well I'm very pleased for my alliance partner Joe. And now its all down to the final game for us.

MF: Can you do it?

BH: Well we are in the driving seat, We are the only ones who can throw it away now. It will be a very difficult game. I'm an admirer of Hill Billy's, He has a very good squad, I think it's just the consistency that his side lack......I just hope that we catch them on a bad day ( Laughs )

MF: Well back to today's game, Were you pleased with the result?

BH: Erm......I am pleased yes, I thought we played much better today than we did last week, We held the ball well and kept possession better but we still need to get forward more and score more goals. Southampton were more sound in defence today which made it very hard to find a way through but if we are to progress in this competition and pull ourselves out of relegation trouble then we need to be creating enough chances to score more goals, We may be second in the group but we have only scored three goals and we need to do better than that.

MF: How did you think your new loan signing Ravanelli did today?

BH: It's been a hectic week for the lad and after that first shot I thought he did very well, He didn't let it get to him and he kept plugging away. He had a couple of chances but it was his first game back in England so yes I'm pleased with the way it went.

MF: And Di Livio.......Another great performance today?

BH: Yes, He was outstanding again today as he has been since he arrived here, When you think that we only paid £1.2 million for him he is turning out to be one of the bargains of the season.

MF: Absolutely, .......What did you make of the disallowed goal at the end, Jamie Newell and the Southampton players certainly thought it was a good goal, Kachloul certainly seemed to be onside?

BH: I must admit I was surprised it was disallowed, I couldn't see anything wrong with it and I feel for Jamie because it seems it was a bad refereeing decision which we seem to have had a lot of lately, And it has ultimately ended their cup hopes.

MF: Is it something that needs to be looked into, A few managers have expressed their concerns over the last couple of weeks?

BH: If they are making errors that are costing teams a result then yes I think it does. Today was a bad decition from the ref but it is the first I have experienced in a match involving Bradford so I am maybe not the best person to ask about it.

MF: Now it's been a good result for your newly formed alliance today with both Coventry and Tottenham winning and yourselves drawing, Is this the way forward in SAS.

BH: Well Joe, Brian and myself think so, That is why we formed this partnership. Today's results proved that we are heading in the right direction and we could see all three teams through to the quarter finals which would be a great start to the alliance.

MF: And what do you say regarding the rumours in some papers last week that there is already friction between yourself and Brian Thompson?

BH: There is no friction, We had a misunderstanding and it was forgotten about straight away, We have spoken many times since and we have been discussing ways to strengthen the alliance even further this week.

MF: Can you shed any light on this?

BH: All will be revealed in due course, Nothing has been finalised yet but we have plans for the alliance.

MF: Well thank you for talking to us Buck.

BH: Thanks.

** Scene fades back to the Sky Sports Studio **

JS: Thanks Martin.

** Jeff turns to the Soccer Saturday panel to his left which includes Rod Mush, Cliff Ollen and Randy Blue **

JS: A good result for Bradford today Rod?

RM: Yes, I think Buck will be delighted with today's result, When he gets home and looks at that group table I think he will be very satisfied.

JS: And can they get a result against West Ham Cliff?

CO: It will be tough but as we've seen this season already, West Ham are very unpredictable, They can be unbeatable one week and then average the next. If West Ham are on top form next week then I think Bradford will find it very difficult. As we saw today West Ham were breathtaking in the first half and then somehow through away a five goal lead, They cant afford to play like that against Bradford, They know that they have to win to progress to the last eight. Its a tough one to call.

JS: Do you go along with that Randy?

RB: Yes, West Ham are a very talented side and can be unbeatable on top form but they seem to lack consistency and that is something they need to work on,........Bradford are still on a high after only one defeat in seven and Hysen wont want that run to end just yet, But Bradford have two extremely important games coming up, Against Middlesborough in the league and West Ham in the cup. This will be the real test as to just how far they have come. Hysen knows he has improved Bradford but he will want to see just how much.

JS: Thanks for the moment lads, We're going to take a break now but when we return we will be hearing what Brian Thompson and Longball had to say to each other after Tottenhams 2-1 win against Everton today.
