Transfer Market

The Transfer Market is the place to come and see who, outside of the PMF League is available to purchase.

Every player listed on the market currently plays his football outside of the PMF League and is looking to sign for one of the 32 PMF clubs.

When making a bid for a player on the Transfer Market you must send an email to the entire RP list stating who you are bidding for and how much your bid is. Once the deadline has passed you will have to wait and see whether your bid has been successful.

If another manager bids higher for a player or if you wish to bid higher than another manager for a player then you must increase the bid by £200,000. ( i.e. If you bid £5m for a player and then another manager bids £5.2m for the same player, then your next bid must be at least £5.4m, £200,000 higher than the last bid )

Before you make your first bid for a player you must send an email to the PMF Board stating the highest you are prepared to bid for that player. You must email the board for every player you plan to bid on. This will hopefully cut down on managers pulling out for a player after they have risen his price.

(i.e. If Chris Sutton was available for £7m then you must email the board before your first bid informing us how much you are willing to pay for the player. If you pull out of the bidding before you reach this price then your club will receive a fine from the PMF Board. Fine's will increase should managers continue to pull out of bidding wars. )

Once the bidding for a player has risen above the price you quoted to the board then you can pull out of the bidding at anytime. (i.e. If you emailed the board stating that £10m is the most you are prepared to pay for Chris Sutton and the bidding goes above this, then your club can drop out of the bidding. )

If you are not sure that you want to start bidding for a player then do not bid.

You cannot offer players in exchange when bidding for a player on the Transfer Market. You must have all the cash required.

On rare occasions a player will refuse to sign for the highest bidder. A number of factors could influence a player's decision not to join your club. These could include, The division your club is in, Your League position, Your clubs current form, Your clubs history, The quality of your squad or he may just not like you.

As with domestic transfers you must pay the player a signing on fee should you capture his signature. The signing on fee will be paid directly to the player and will be 10% of his final transfer fee ( i.e. If you bought Chris Sutton for £10m then you would have to pay £10m pound to his club and £1m to the player )

New players will appear on the transfer list on a regular basis, so it is your responsibility to check the transfer list often to check who is looking to move to the PMF league.

As players will always be looking to move to the PMF league throughout the season you must ensure that you do not rush in and bid for the first players you see. You do not want to purchase a player for the sake of it, just because he is available. A more suitable player could become available within days.

All deadlines set will be for 12:00am GMT. Any bid received after this time will be deemed as null and void. ( i.e. If the deadline for all bids is set at 17th April 12:00am, then the last bid accepted would be 16th April 11:59pm.
